'My people are destroyed for want of knowledge.

Because you rejected knowledge, I will reject you as cohen for Me.

Let us make the same exercise of this verse the other way around:

A) According to this verse, Knowledge leads to Life:

What is this Knowledge? Or rather: Whom is this Knowledge? Jesus Christ!

'And eternal life is this: to know You, the one true God, and Him whom You sent, Yeshua the Messiah.' - John 17:3 (CJB)

'Yeshua said to her, "I AM the Resurrection and the Life! Whoever puts his trust in Me will live, even if he dies; ..." - John 11:25 (CJB)

' "...; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure." ' - John 10:10 (CJB)

=> Experiencing Christ (knowing) leads us into a Lifestyle here on Earth with the perspective of a Eternal Heavenly Life.

"Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live through the Father, so also who ever eats Me will live through Me." - John 6:57 (CJB)

Our Relationship with Jesus on this side of life determines our Life in Eternity! Your life style does matter!

B) Embracing (loving) Knowledge (Jesus) makes us - royal priests - stand before our God on account of the people:

'He answered, "You are to love ADONAI your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your understanding; and your neighbor as yourself."

"That's the right answer," Yeshua said. "Do this, and you will have life." ' - Luke 10:27-28 (CJB)

=> The Divine Vision for the human race' existence is 'to love'.

'Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights; with Him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning.' - Jam.1:17 (CJB)

'But you are a chosen people, the King's cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.' - 1 Pet.2:9 (CJB)

By His love we are transformed after His image, character and likeness!

C) When we apply the Torah, we will be blessed in having an offspring:

'So Yeshua said to the Judeans who had trusted Him, "If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:31-32 (CJB)

As friends of God, we have to walk with Holy Spirit to finish His works here on Earth.

This makes us fruitful at three different levels:

a. Our new Identity in Christ: Sons of God - Gal.4:6-7 (CJB)

b. Our progeny: showing grace to the thousandth generation - Exo.34:7 (CJB)

c. Spiritual children - disciples of Jesus Christ - Matt.28:18-20 (CJB)

Paul sums it up perfectly in Ephesians 1:17-19 (CJB)

'In my prayers I keep asking the God of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you will have full knowledge of Him. I pray that He will give light to the eyes of your hearts, so that you will understand the hope to which He has called you, what rich glories there are in the inheritance He has promised his people, and how surpassingly great is his power working in us who trust Him.'
